By replacing the restrictive stock intake, RFI increases horsepower, torque, fuel efficiency, and can decrease EGT’s.
By removing the stock air box and replacing it with a metal heat shield and using a conical air filter you can maximize the air filter cleaning area and allow the
engine to breath easier and produce more horsepower. All RFI intakes use a lifetime reusable 4-layer cotton gauze filter. This combined with the deep pleats
make these filters ideal for high performance use.
This intake also works very well in conjunction with performance computer modules; the modules will increase the amount of fuel going into the motor and
therefore needs more air. The installation of this system is very easy and requires only very basic hand tools. Generally installation can be done in 20 minutes.
